Paddy O’Brien is a Senior Engineer at ToltIQ where he is responsible for development across the full stack. He focuses on building new features, improving the user experience, and enhancing the platform's backend systems.

Prior to joining ToltIQ Paddy acted as Lead Product Engineer at Wayleadr, where he lead a team of engineers focused on building and maintaining their core enterprise product. His ongoing work enabled Wayleadr to win the best-in-category awards for consecutive years on both G2 and Capterra. He built Wayleadr's "Newton" algorithm - an industry-first system that allocates spaces in a customizable, fair distribution.

Paddy completed a Masters in Chemistry from University College Cork before shifting to software development, obtaining a postgraduate qualification from Dublin Business School (DBS).

In his spare time Paddy can be found writing and hosting Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, video gaming, DJing, or yelling at Formula 1 races.
