Matt Brandman is Chief Innovation Officer at ToltIQ and is responsible for driving the ongoing development and evolution of the platform.

Matt is an expert in cybersecurity with extensive experience in assessing and deploying application security programs and building resilient architectures. He emphasizes a deep understanding of the business to ensure security models align with organizational objectives and operational requirements.

As co-founder of ToltIQ, Matt has sat on the company’s advisory board since inception and played an instrumental role in designing the underlying architecture of the platform and providing engineering support.

Prior to joining ToltIQ Matt was the Head of Security and IT at Duolingo, the world's most popular language learning platform with over 80 million daily active users. Previously he held applications security roles at Compass as the company’s application security lead and Blackstone where he held the same title. He began his career at PwC as a cybersecurity associate.

Matt earned his Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science with a Concentration in Cyber Operations from Northeastern University.

Outside of work he loves spending time with his family, playing boardgames, and being the Dungeon Master for all-night games of D&D.
