Lila Karl is a Product Manager at ToltIQ focused on client success and product development.
She supports onboarding for private equity clients, designs and implements custom workflows across private-markets use cases (CIM analysis, portfolio monitoring, IC memo drafting, etc.), and trains teams on AI best practices. Lila synthesizes client feedback into platform requirements that help guide the product roadmap and generate new feature ideas.
Lila began at ToltIQ as a Research Intern, where she benchmarked the performance of the foundation models used within ToltIQ. Her work was instrumental in designing an evaluation framework and scoring model outputs. Building on this research foundation, Lila specializes in prompt engineering with a focus on due diligence workflows. She has developed structured methodologies for crafting highly refined prompts and mapping end-to-end workflows, which she applies in her client partnerships to optimize AI performance for specific use cases.
Prior to joining ToltIQ, Lila worked as a Technology Consulting intern at EY where she helped clients on technology transformations, collaborating with the EY team to plan and execute projects, and perform Excel-based data cleanup, lookups, and application prioritization.
Lila graduated from Wake Forest University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering and a minor in Economics. She also completed the Wall Street Prep Private Equity Certificate Program to expand her knowledge on the private equity deal process. In her free time, Lila enjoys cooking, walking her dog, and reading.
